Seriously, that is NOT very logical. Logical would be to HIRE MORE FREAKING POLICE and PUNISH CRIMINALS.

Social engineering attack.. Guy in front asks for the time.. Guy behind bashes you with lead pipe. . not wearing headphones isn't a factor

I don’t care if they hire 1000 cops tomorrow; crime will never be completely gone. So if it is a factor, how is suggesting to people to have better situational awareness illogical? Distracted people make good targets. Where’s the logical fallacy in suggesting to people that wearing headphones on the subway might make you a better target to criminals.

The same people that argue that they need guns because they can’t trust police to help them are the same people that will argue that recommending situational awareness is illogical because more cops will save you.

You’d have more credibility if you simply stated “I’m highly partisan and look for any tiny excuse to bash members of opposing parties”.

I don't see this as the total solution in eradicating crimes! In my opinion, they need more of totality approach!
