I have sold one firearm through guns.com! The buyer knew up front the only way I would sell it would be if he had a current Weapons Carry License. I have also sold a couple of guns to my sons, one who has s current WCL the other has never been arrested and is a Lt firefighter.
I see no reason for private sales or sales among family members to go through an FFL, especially with the ATF illegally seizing paperwork they are not entitled to remove from a store or individual with an FFL.

I bought a gun online years ago and it had to be delivered to a gun shop (FFL) here. I had to pay for it in advance and then I had to pay a fee here after undergoing a background check and waiting an additional week. When I got it home it wasn't at all what I expected so it sits in the junk safe never to be heard from again.
I enjoyed going to the gun shows. Never bought anything, but I did see a cannon like what my great-great grandfather commanded during the Civil War. They did have check stations where background checks took place if you were to purchase a firearm. Where's the loophole?

PO1 Jeff Chandler It seems it worked, there hasn't been a gun show here in years.
