Norway's wealth fund divests from Israeli and Russian firms – DW – 12/04/2024

Norway has been infected with the "woke" virus. That's too bad. People attacking Israel for responding to the HAMAS attack forget that HAMAS killed, kidnapped, raped, and tortured innocent Israelis. SMH Israel has a right to defend itself and go after not just HAMAS but those who fund it and use it as a proxy to carry out attacks on Israel.

When used to prevent victimizing the method is verifiably the most peaceful effective way to deal with the problem.
However, in different circumstances where there is no victiming, nor intended to be, "boycotting" when applied to people to simply punish them for not supporting the same issues in the same ways, without even an opportunity to learn why - thus to learn something that was unknown - the misuse of it runs amok. When it spreads, many instances in history demonstrate it becomes a collusion that is analogous to organized crime.
Norway is doing the right thing, imho, for the right reasons.
