North Korea on Sunday fired what appeared to be the most powerful missile it has tested since President Joe Biden took office, as it revives its old playbook in brinkmanship to wrest concessions from Washington and neighbors amid a prolonged stalemate in diplomacy.
The Japanese and South Korean militaries said the missile was launched on a high trajectory, apparently to avoid the territorial spaces of neighbors, and reached a maximum altitude of 2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles) and traveled 800 kilometers (497 miles) before landing in the sea.
The flight details suggest the North tested its longest-range ballistic missile since 2017, when it twice flew intermediate-range ballistic missiles over Japan and, separately, three intercontinental ballistic missiles that demonstrated the potential to reach deep into the American homeland.

I do not blame Kim for pushing the boundaries. I blame our Geriatric in Chief and his puppet masters. I served during the Reagan administration. Boot camp when the bombing took place in Beirut. I guaran-damn-tee this garbage would not have happened then. It also didn't go down like this during Trumps term in office. It pains me to see what has happened to our military. It has been weakened during both the Obama administration and Biden administration. It has gone from seeing new and interesting places, meeting new and interesting people and burning down their huts, to Join Camp Okey Dokey and get a free gender reassignment. I am sorry. I just do not have the same faith in our military as I have always had. Good warriors have been forced out. The executive branch has ZERO respect. The General staff have become politicians. It sickens and disgusts me.
