You may not like what I have to say about this, but as I read the article by the CNN journalists, I did not see facts, I read generalizations not backed up by named sources... I personally think that Black History is just as important as any other part of History regardless of race, color or creed... Throughout my nearly 78 years I have enjoyed the friendship of many people of color from around the world... I was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi in the Early 1960's and saw 1st hand discrimination off base... I was appalled to say the least! I had several great black friends back in these early 1960s and we hung out together on base, went to the movies together, ate meals together and more...but we could not go off base together because the Democrat leaders pushed racial issues through the likes of the Klan. I saw this first hand...not through a story or article by a journalist...

As Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King quoted: “The past is prophetic in that it asserts loudly that wars are poor chisels for carving out peaceful tomorrows”.

“We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Good people are good people regardless of whatever color skin they may have and I have been honored and am still honored today to know and be good friends with some of the best people ever... I am an independent who was once a solid Democrat... I walked away in my 40s because of the way most liberals treated other people regardless of color... and I am now an Independent. The liberal left let down too many citizens with promises and kept none of them in my view and they have moved further and further away from the tenets of our Constitution and Bill of Rights as they were intended... We must all pull together in positivity not negativity for the freedom of man in a country that respects the rule of law...

SSG (Join to see) - It was a shameful part of our past and we should learn from it... We need to pull together as a people, not as a haters, not with rioting, not with burning things down... When people of all color, or origin do that, we destroy what others have created...and worked hard for... DO we live in a perfect world? No we do not, but our world, our Country provides the best opportunity for a good life if we all work toward a common goal... It does take hard work, as Dr. King espoused, for all of us... Peace brother...

Coming from the same region as you and going to college in the south in the early 60s I was equally appalled but it wasn't just Democrat leaders that pushed racial issues. It was in fact a way of life for everyone. I still vividly remember on a college visit trip in 1962 seeing a "Colored Only" sign and asking my parents what that meant.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I was on a bus in Pascagoula, Mississippi back to base at Keesler AFB and in Gulfport, a black lady got on and did not go to the back of the bus... The driver told her several times, then had a bus company attendant call the police, who came and took her off the bus... I was about 19 at the time and it shocked the H3!! out of me... Bad time in history... The Klu Klux Clan was very powerful back then as well... Southerners didn't like the people from the North either back then black or white... Sad...

Sgt (Join to see) I remember that well. My roommate was from a dairy farm in rural (very) western Virginia and when I went home with him I always got introduced as his college roommate with no mention of where I was from. Being a state school most people just assumed I was from Virginia.

We should also look at his involvements when Trump told him to get the UK to move the British Open to Trump's Scotland golf course.

SSG (Join to see) - British Government was clear. no request was made. Does not matter who else was mentioned or not. It is very succinct.

Pence's room and board was not charged, from what I remember. No bill from Trump resorts was paid. Thus saving money. Security questions and providing the securest site is also considered by the SS. I would be willing to bet that is the answer and not another liberal wet dream of orange man bad.

Well if you think having the VP and his security detail travel 360 miles everyday saves taxpayers money I have oceanside property in South Dakota for sale. Killer views. You'll love it.

SSG (Join to see) - The Trump supporters do not care if Trump murderers someone in Times Square, as long as it is a Democrat,

SSgt William Quinn The question was posed to the Scottish government, not the British. However the who was questioned is immaterial. The fact that it was even considered a reasonable request says all one needs to know about the integrity of the Ambassador.
