Interestingly enough, Bill Barr, the Former AG whom the Trump haters have lauded for saying Trump should not have kept the alleged classified documents, has also come out to say the NY AG is overreaching, the case has no merit, and that this is no more than a political stunt. I'm curious to know whether his words matter to them this time...

The reporter makes the Attorney General of New York State look really stupid because under the Martin act, this is a joke but you could put criminal charges for someone stealing a bagel. But they choose not to they're making it a civil act forget this is the same state that'll let people out of jail after doing horrific crimes but yet they're going after president Trump but yet people who have committed felonies who shot people are having no bail. So this is a total hypocrisy of the worst state that won't get rid of their George Soros attorney generals that don't prosecute crime and in that state, only the governor can do it but we have a leftist governor that decides not to. So New York has the power to prosecute under the Martin act but doesn't do so doesn't that sound kind of strange?

What it's really doing is strengthening his base as they go after petty and unsubstantiated charges and then fail to produce results. There is no other reason for this other than to prevent him from running again. In the meantime, critical thinkers who don't support a left agenda, don't necessarily support Trump, and would prefer not to see him run again, find themselves defending him when the left overreaches both in authority and precedence. Additionally, this is also demonstrating their true colors as they act in the manner they accuse Trump of acting (mean, shrill, narcissistic, egocentric, pick a word). If they would simply move on from Trump and allow him to fade away, he'd probably cease to be a blip in the news today. But no, this is personal, vindictive, and unproductive... All for perceived political points.
