Some people believe should be more community care centric which concerns me. Decentralizing opens up a huge can of worms.

I think I follow you, if you’re saying as an example that smaller/remote regions may get less vs large metro areas. Otherwise would be interested in more details

LTC Steve Absalonson - I can see compelling reasons for remote veterans. However, the VA needs to be able to coordinate and track medical information for medical and administrative purposes. Right now, the VA has eyes on my conditions and what I have been through with my VA appointments and what I need to do in the future. It's quite holistic.

I live in rural Nebraska so care in the community is a huge deal due to the lack of available resources. I have referred clients to VetCenter that does virtual appointments.
