Agust D, otherwise known as Suga from the K-pop group BTS, completes a trilogy of solo work this week with the release of his debut studio album, D-Day. It's a bold, hard-hitting hip-hop album that, as we discuss on this week's show, frees the rapper from some of the creative constraints he might find when working with a larger group more interested in sunny pop. But D-Day is also more optimistic and hopeful than Agust D's earlier works as he finds reason for celebration between moments of darkness, outrage and despair.
