I'm hearing good things about this round. I don't think I'll run out and grab a rifle chambered in it just yet (just started to explore my new 6.5 Creedmoor) but it bears watching.
Another good post, PFC (Join to see).

Edward Samsen - Sweet build. Lots of good barrels out there. I use Lilja out of Plains, Montana. Partial to my home town manufacturer.

Edward Samsen - 27" is optimum but I think it's about less than 100FPS going from a 24" to a 22" barrel depending on the ammo.

TSgt David L. - Optimum at a range under ideal conditions. Humping an AR in the field with a 27" barrel isnot great....with a match barrel it would be very front heavy.

Edward Samsen - I'm not saying that its the best to carry. Just that that gives the powder time to completely burn, thus optimum for the round. The ARs I just did have 20" barrels so obviously I don't want to carry a 27" pig to the range or anywhere else.
