I stopped reading these reports because I always thought there was some level of BIAS!

SPC Andrew Griffin Determining the ethnicity of perpetrators and their victims is pretty straightforward, as is calculating the numbers, something even the DOJ can do. How is this biased?

The problem with this type of information is it give the wrong impression of how most crooks actually operate. Crooks, by their nature tend to be lazy and will victimize the easiest target. In my 30+ years of law enforcement experience, I have rarely seen crimes committed because solely due to race. In areas that are predominantly white, surprisingly most of your victims are white too. Same with the crooks in black, Hispanic, Asian areas.

Crooks will be crooks regardless of their skin tone. What the good citizens need to do is to judge folks on their conduct. Not the color of their skin.

Ok, apart from the fact that it is an article by a white supremacist organization....I have no idea what conclusion you are trying to draw from this information. The source already has me questioning wherever this is going.

Capt Chris McVeigh can you cite sources that the data was posted by a confirmed 'white supremacist organization', the DOJ, or is this your opinion and that we should just take your word for it?

I'm really not sure how you are interpreting that comment as stating the DOJ is a white supremacist group. You posted a direct link to the American Renaissance website which can be cited as white supremacist in numerous places through a simple search on google. That has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion, I'm simply stating open source information that you can look up yourself.

Capt Chris McVeigh Thinking critically means objectively looking at the evidence presented (DOJ data) to determine it's accuracy and if it supports any assertions made. Some have already closed their minds because a 3rd party says they should. The DOJ has compiled the stats. Look at that and draw your own conclusions. Or not.
