That sucks ! We spilled a gallon of fuel one day in San Diego, and I think every EPA related administration descended on us. The CO of the ship asked me if he was going to have to pay a $50k fine, and I told him no, it was a design flaw from the ship yard they wouldn't fix. EPA agreed and we got it fixed in a yard availability after that...

Nah, I Watched what happened from the Quaterdeck. the Oiler Misaligned the Valves an Pumped Out Way More than 100 Gallons of DFM.
