I don't get why people would ruin their life rather than take a little prick. So be it.

PO2 Russell "Russ" Lincoln - The article you cited is not entirely correct. Example: Aspirin is known to have existed and been used medicinally for over 2500 years. Undoubtedly, aspirin remains chemically unchanged from the 1899 US Patent. However, It does have a connection to Fetal Stem Cell Technology (FSCT). It is used as a catalyst in conjunction with other meds that are the product of FSTC for certain specific stem cell therapies. The fact that aspirin is used to improve the action of other meds, does not make aspirin an ethical problem for me. None-the-less, I cannot recall having taken an aspirin in at least the last 30 years. I just don't take prescribed or or OTC meds unless it is a requirement for a medical procedure. In that case I review my concerns with the specialist and we find ethical (to me) alternatives.

Maj John Bell - You do realize that the cells are over 50 years old. It's not like they took cells from yesterday.
