Navy band's sea-shanty version of a Taylor Swift hit gets mixed reviews but lots of views online

The U.S. Navy Band jumped into the sea-shanty craze Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, by posting a whaling version of a Taylor Swift pop song – an interpretation quickly met by mixed reviews online. In a roughly two-minute video, five uniformed sailors sing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” accompanied by a single drum and violin.

G Gordon Liddy recounted when Navy Seals went to the Philippines disguised as band members because they could hide things in the instrument cases. Well apparently, and I will assume this happened in Olongapo City, they got into a huge brawl at a bar or club.
It was funny how he described the consequences of the brawl. Navy brass was wondering and curious how a navy band could be so bellicose and violent. Mr. Liddy said the navy henceforth would never be disguised as musicians again.
