Thanks for keeping us informed my learned and well-informed friend SSgt (Join to see).
It is sad when people attack the messenger over the message. I have seen it played out during the French revolution and in Nazi Germany as prime examples. The man0made climate change cabal seems to have embraced this idea as well - Naomi Oreskes seems to have inherited her approach from Joseph Goebbels.

Sorry for what may send you all into much extended reading, but in a nutshell, as noted by LTC Stephen F., we have a larger problem than just something involving science. The global warming is indeed a dead issue in public polling, but it is kept alive in zombie-like fashion by (borrowing a label from the OccupyWallStreet people) elitist One Percenters in the media who have far more control over information than they are entitled to.
