Most Women Oppose Having to Register for the Draft - Rasmussen Reports

It makes sense. The poll showed only 29% polled think the US should have a draft at all. So if you are against a draft, you would likely answer no about should women register. You would likewise answer no if they asked if men should. But what's interesting is the mens vote. 61% said women should register, even though no where near that many men actually support a draft at all. So their yes to women registering isn't about equality in a positive sense of opportunity, but rather it's "if I have to suck, you have to suck too".

I am starting to see shades of Starship Troopers, with rules of citizenship requiring service to country. Women tend to want to be equal to men, but only when its convenient to them, or at least that this the impression I get from media. If they refuse and win the right to not register, then men should be released from this also. Then again, there are more women in the US than men, so maybe we should be sending women over to fight. Who cares though, if you want the reward, you must take all the consequences, good to bad, with it. If you are unwilling, then do not step up.
