What is wrong with not wanting to dine with someone? There are certain levels of right, and going to eat with a member of the opposite sex, when you're already attached seems like your asking for trouble.

I think it's what the "dining" is for. When you are on official travel, often the people you are with, either male or female, are the ones you have dinner with. This is not to say you intentionally go with the opposite sex alone in the group, but sometimes it could go that way. Especially if the two of you are the only ones on the trip, which has certainly been the case for me. I would just say let your spouse or significant other know that's what you are doing, then you don't have to worry about it. You can dine alone with a member of the opposite sex, and still stay in integrity.

Dining implies dinner, to me. Even so, I prefer to eat w Hubster or our priest. It wasn't an issue in college, but one, hopefully, grows a little in wisdom, over time.
