SSG Derrick L. Lewis MBA, C-HRM When I finally got my self down to where I made tape for enlistment, I was in Albuquerque. My recruiter drove me from Albuquerque to Las Cruces NM to deliver the good news to my parents in person. A week later Howard Johnson overnight, no eating, drink lots of water, and then MEPS and Chicago for Basic. He was a lot like the MEPS driver on the drive down. Thankfully I sat in the back so it wasn't as bad as in the video.
