I am going to raise the bullshit flag if they use 2 exact linear models without accounting for variables like different strategies to prepare for the pandemic, executing plans, and sustaining the fight against COVID. Case in point Taiwan tested everyone coming into the country and did contact tracing. S Korea mobilized many testing stations and conducted contact tracing. The US stopped some air travel and lied about the pandemic for weeks. The conditions and variables are not the same.
