Another example of someone who doesn't want kids to know the whole truth.

So the school system is actively free ghting records requests to hide what they are or are not teaching. And your take is that the problem is the AG doesn't want people to know the whole truth.

Interesting.

SFC Casey O'Mally - He's looking for something that isn't there. Whatever he finds, he will turn it into a negative.

SrA John Monette if it isn't there, how can he find it?

The existence of racism, the history of slavery, the struggle for equality: these SHOULD all be taught in our schools. But.... we should not be teaching that America IS racist, or that it was created to protect slavery, or ANYTHING that identifies traits, abilities, rights, OR responsibilities by skin color. This includes (but is not limited to) modeling rhe concept of oppressor or oppressed, reparations, that it is OK for SOME people to use certain words but not others, the glorification of racists OR race-baiters, modeling of segregation, or anything that uses the terms "whiteness" or "blackness."

Additionally, we SHOULD be teaching civics, and both rights AND responsibilities of being an American citizen. We should be building the next generation of citizens who are proud of their country, warts and all. Not ignorant of the warts, but not blinded by them, either. So proud, in fact, that they want to not only continue this great nation, but make it even better - through their own HARD WORK, dedication, and sacrifice to the country and to each other. We should not be teaching (or implying or even accepting outside opinions which state) that the best plan is to rip it apart/burn it down/blow it up and start over.

The US IS racist. We should be teaching that although the country is racist, there are ways to combat that. One of those ways is knowing the history, ALL of the history, not just those parts that make us feel good about ourselves. Only then will our children be able to address that racism and begin to correct it.

He knows they aren’t teaching CRT to students but he will consider any racial bias and equality training to the staff as something to push to an ignorant base.
This agenda of destroying our public education system to push Charter schools cause that’s where the money is at. These fascists opportunists don’t want to help Americans by fixing real problems.

Wow. Such a uneducated take. Sunshine Law in Missouri takes precedence. Why would the SPSD care to show if they are teaching CRT? If they are, then the local school board should be accountable. Racebaters.

MAJ John Murphy But they aren't no more than any public school is indoctrinating students on Islam, Communism, or White guilt. But lets say we start a movement claiming schools are indoctrinating our children on Christian and Euro-White superiority. You know the right wing nationalist garbage from the ilk of Steve King, Stephen Miller, MTG, and others. Don't waste taxpayer money with falsehoods.
