So that's Bagram, Afghanistan! Isn't it a Air Force base? The AF did the same thing to LSA Anaconda in Balad, Iraq. Turn the whole place into a frickin shopping mall / resort. Bagram sounds exactly the same. Anaconda had a free shuttle service, free laundry service, free internet, a movie theater w/ a subway in it, a indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gym, MWR, bazaar, barber shop that also gave back rubs and food court that had Pizza Hut, Burger King trailers. There were also several PXs scattered around the base. It was the perfect place for R & R, leaving made me very sad. I should have extended and gone to Bagram. I can issue op orders from HQ with a burger in mouth.

Don't forget how Sun base commander decided that the fast food joints had to go in Kandahar but this Commander did not right the oer of the Canadians so the Canadians kept their Tim Hortons
