This picture of the NCFM board of directors is exactly what I expected.

My comment isn't meant to be derogatory by the way. It is just how I envisioned the board of directors.

Can't have it both ways. Either men and women are held to the same standard throughout, thus necessitating their inclusion in the selective service registry, or we recognize that men and women are intrinsically different, requiring the military to reevaluate the recent turn toward attempting to push for women in every area of the military and lowering standards in various areas so as to facilitate this inane policy.

Since male/female is no longer being determined by science(biology), what legal meaning does the term male/female, man/woman have?

1SG (Join to see) - My expertise? My expertise is that I've been a man my whole life. You're either a man or a woman. That is the science for all of human history.

Sgt (Join to see) - Our understanding of the natural world gets better through scientific discovery. No that is not the science for all human history. Our understanding has improved and continues to improve. I hope anyone reading this does not except your dilettante explanation and instead looks at the science.

The DSD cases described in the article make up around .5% of births in the US. According to the writer, the case of the woman described would be 1% of the .5% of total DSD cases. The man referenced with having Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome is one of 150 cases detected in the past 80 years worldwide (think 150 divided by billions). These statistics are readily available at sites such as the NCBI a part of the NIH. This article could best be described as misleading and written with a purpose rather than with scientific objectivity. To say these cases are rare is a gross understatement.
