I've been told that I should be watching Game of Thrones, that it's the greatest thing since Shakespeare. Tell me. Is it as good as this?

I think it will go down in the annals with the Sopranos as one of the best shows ever aired. Fair warning, in a nod to a gentleman's generation, there is a whole fuck-ton of nudity in the first 3 seasons or so.

I find the TV series better than the books. George R. R. Martin gets very wording at times, too many for me. That said, GOT has good actors, good character development, a good story line but lots of people getting themselves killed. And as PO1 Robert Payne wrote, dragons.
