I cringe every time I read such stories and can't imagine how, to this day, people claim it was all a myth. Agree, thanks to medics everywhere!

I have talked with men in my VFW and American Legions posts who were there and at other places. Not a single attending US soldier escaped those nightmares.

We often forget the damage done just seeing those events, let alone living through those camps.
