This man really needs to run for President. Maybe not next election cycle, but he needs to run.

PO3 Steven Sherrill you mean people are upset he didn't give an answer biases towards one political spectrum or the other? He simply gave a service answer? How dare he not do what the cameras want him to. Good on him. We need more of that.

It would be interesting to see how the public would react to an honorable candidate with integrity. He and Kelly fit that mold and calls it as they see it. Straight forward with no equivocation.

Think many of us have been there, having a totally incompetent boss. Mattis shows his integrity and style by wading in and doing the things necessary to lead the military despite the chaos from above him. Just hope that all his dealings with politicians doesn't corrupt him as it did with Colin Powell.
