I remember watching Mary Lou Retton kick butt and win the gold and other medals from the barracks at Camp Lejeune thanks for sharing Maj Marty Hogan

Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 24 is the anniversary of the birth of retired American gymnast Mary Lou Retton Kelley who won a gold medal in the individual all-around competition, as well as two silver medals and two bronze medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
