Marines In Coronado Lend A Hand For The Holidays

The Marines of the Coronado Detachment of the Marine Corps League celebrated this holiday season by providing donations to amazing local charities and Marines in need.

With the generosity of our supporters and hard work of the Detachment, we were able to provide donations to the USMC Recruiting Station San Diego, The Stephen J. Wampler Foundation, The Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, the Workshop for Warriors, The Young Marines National Foundation and Honor Flight San Diego.

Detachment was also able to provide direct funding to Marines of 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines (Camp Pendleton) so they could attend services for their fallen comrades who were killed in action at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan this past August.

And what holiday season could be complete without supporting our local Toys for Toys drive? The Detachment held numerous events to get those toy bins filled to the top!
