Marine Raider uniform on display holds familial significance, pride for museum curator

Curator Tom Bugala of the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas in Brevard curates the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II exhibit. Many of the artifacts on display in this exhibit are items that belonged to Bugala’s uncle who served during the war. The uniform of United States Marine Corps Private First Class Anton “Tony” Albert Bugala is the center piece of two glass display cases filled with artifacts from the Battle of Guadalcanal against the Empire of Japan.
