As a career educator, I wrote many lessons, scenarios and exams. This one was particularly convoluted and nonsensical. Of all of the possible “moral of the story” possibilities, the marriage is not the one I would have chosen. Perhaps in the scenario writer, there is a controversial or convoluted relationship in their immediate life circles. It takes courage to speak up, and now with the advent of social media, there is always the thought that what you write online will be out there forever. Now that this scenario has been memorialized here and elsewhere, I pray that future scenario writers have this lesson about how not to do it easily accessible to them.
We put so much emphasis on affirming people, but we should not forget that sometimes we all need correction. Granted, my correction received now will be available for generations to come and hopefully my long-term “claim to fame” won’t be a move like this.....YIKES! My poor great great grandson who finds out that his surname is associated with something stupid I wrote online. Oh please dear Lord, let this not happen to my progeny......
