Man arrested for vandalizing Seattle's Wing Luke Museum: 'Chinese people ruined my life'

The only person that ruined his his life is himself.

Let me very clear that I condone neither his alleged actions nor his alleged statements.

But are those windows somehow MORE broken because he said mean things? Is the cost to restore going to somehow be HIGHER?

He is being charged with am additional crime for.... his speech. Which is protected by the 1st Amendment. I don't have to like or support the speech. Neither does anyone else. But I will absolutely defend his right to say whatever the heck he wants.


As a side note, who here is surprised that after Seattle rooted against police, loudly called to defund them, and even took over part of the city to get rid of them, that it took the cops 50 minutes to respond to a vandalism call?
Seriously. It was vandalism. Be happy they responded that day.
