Major commitment for Minot Air Force Base B-52’s

Good for them! Minot is the best kept secret in the Air Force. The locals appreciate the base and consider it part of the larger community. The work with either the BUFFs or in the missile field is challenging and tough but rewarding. It is not a “show” base but a real “working” base so there really isn’t a lot of fluff. The winter weather can be brutal but that’s part of the charm. I spent a total of 13 years there and would do it all over if I could.

All I know is when I played football for saint marys, in bismarck, b52s would fly over our field, you couldn't hear shit.
