The long-delayed focus of Americans on the infamous Tulsa Massacre of 1921 has led many to wonder what other such crimes have had their memory suppressed. The St. Landry Parish Massacre of September 1868 took between 100 and 400 Black lives in Louisiana. The killings were aimed at breaking African American political organizing in order to suppress Black voting in the 1868 election.
White and Black Republicans were the targets. Almost forgotten history. This should mess up the latest propaganda. Black Republicans and White Republicans were the targets of the KKK and killed.

Some people will be very upset about the history that they learned being trampled. For myself I never needed us to be good to the point of turning it into a fairy tale.Many Americans think we are super heroes who can swoop down on evil doers.
Blacks fought against us in the Revolution because the British would free them. I can’t blame them for that but it stuck right into the Civil War. The thought that blacks might take up arms against them was fearsome. Actually the British only used them for manual labor and abandoned them when they left.
Life goes on, we have about worn the current surge out
