I enjoyed this article and highly recommend all give it a read. There are some good points and ideas in it. It is missing items - but do not let that detract from what it does provide. And I do agree - we are losing - and have been for over a decade - ... we have not been able to provide more than tactical victories in operational campaigns - and more so - we lack a strategic plan to base everything off of and the very critical centralized C2 to apply not just the intelligence and even the right forces - but even the lessons learned. For IS - we are involved in a global insurgency effort that we are waging in detail - fought in GCC domains... and resourced as such. We have alot of work to be done to restructure the force to enable it to wage IW.. personalities and in the box thinking have long kept that from occurring. Its not just in PSYOP (that is a shadow of itself without the manpower of putting Humpty Dumpty back together again) or Cyber, or EW, or Deception, or IO...... its across the board in restructuring those forces and our doctrine and having a strategic plan and employing them globally in ways that we can not do now .
