Although I most often disagree with the editorial content of the New Yorker, I have never lost respect for the quality of it. However, this is the most sophomoric piece I've read since junior high school. Looking past that, it also fails in that it treats President Trump as though he were a politician which, obviously, he isn't. Agree or disagree, he has principals and acts on them without regard for popular sentiment. You may agree or disagree with his principals, but you must admit that what I say is true. Sad, but this piece misses by every standard...

he spent year running a dirty potical campain. He is a poltician and of the partial vile kind trading on bigotry. Once you run for any office you are a potician. You might want to review the meaning of the word.
