What an exciting day we've had this 3rd Monday in April! We have flown a small helicopter successfully on Planet Mars!!! Wow! A first for mankind... There will now be some 30 days of flights, none of which, will last terribly long (about a minute or less... as this is an experimental concept, so now we are moving forward to perform other simple tests/explorations... I would imagine that sometime in the future there will be much larger helicopters to come capable of traversing miles of Mars' terrain..., but time will reveal what NASA's plans are...
This video segment is to bring music and space together and accordingly, I bring you a phenomenal world renowned violinist, Lindsey Stirling performing "Artemis" at NASA's Kennedy Space Center... Artemis, as you may know, is the name selected for the next NASA program ro return astronauts to the Moon by 2024.

Artemis: the twin sister of Apollo and the name of our program to return astronauts to the Moon by 2024. In honor of Women’s History Month, musician Lindsey Stirling performed her song, Artemis, on top of the Launch Control Center at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. This video features facts about some out-of-this-world women at NASA and information about NASA’s Artemis program. The Artemis program will send the first woman and next man to walk on the surface of the Moon and build a sustainable base to prepare for missions to Mars and beyond.
