LTC Eric Udouj I love the fact that the article referred to the fact that books are great, but they can't teach you everything you need to know about leadership. Yes, they can give you insights of leaders past, but actually going out there to lead is the best way to learn how to do it!

Not the first and not the last great divisional commander who should never have been promoted higher. Ole Pem also gets credit for losing a whole field army with very little to show for it.
