Well I wouldn't have known about this sentencing if Fox News wasn't so attentive to Lebron's opinions on these things. But how nice it must be to have a prison choice program. Who knew?
The 35-year-old athlete posted a screenshott of the disgraced actress in a recent Vanity Fair article, which has the headline, “Lori Loughlin will get to serve her two-month sentence at the prison of her choice.”
Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison and 100 hours of community service in August and was fined $150,000 for her involvement in the college admission bribery scandal. She pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in May.

Lebron's not a reporter. Fox News posted the article on their website. All Lebron did was react to the story on his Instagram account. I don't know where you got the notion that the public needs Lebron to keep us informed. Maybe you should ask Fox News.

No he isn’t a reporter. Yet, he actually is. His words are newsworthy. he has evolved into more than just an athlete or even a standard public figure. He has reached that status of social commentarian. If you haven’t seen “The Shop”, I’d highly recommend it.
Additionally, the Foxnews article wasn’t critical of Lebron or his response. It was just reporting his response. That’s not uncommon for news outlets these days. That seems to be the norm now; celebrity response to world events is considered news.
