Gawd, I sure hope so!!! We've been doing more with less for decades. We perform ELEVEN federally mandated missions with a current annual budget of $9.8 Billion. And the White House wants to cut $1.3B. It's simply unthinkable.

You're right Senior, this has been the motto for the Coast Guard decades and it has to stop. The Coast Guard assets have been pushed beyond their limits and the men women can't keep putting band aids on assets that have reached their end of life.
