This is crazy prideful parenting. Not one ounce of humbleness or tact. I hope his sons don't turn out like him. And yes Steven is right. This dad is trying to live vicariously through his sons in a way. We all do it. But this guy is a self proclaimed badass. His ego will push all the air out of the room I bet. Ego issues for sure.

I fully agree and would simply rephrase a bit of it to say he's giving absolutely too much of a good thing.

He get's a lot of ink here in this area. He's all about building a brand around his son's.
A lot of people say LaMelo Ball, the UCLA bound HS senior might be the most talented of the three boys.
It must be hell to be the coach of their team with dad constantly talking....lol

He is gonna do his son more harm than good if he doesnt fall back. I can understand him wanting the best for his kids but teams that may be interested might shy away if its a package deal. Im sure thwy dont want thus fool hanging around running his mouth everyday

I have lots of respect for Stephen Smith. LaVar Ball is just focused on marketing. He obviously loves his kid and wants him to succeed. Hope his son is successful and happy. This was all just theatrics as far as I'm concerned...good for ratings...good entertainment. So on that note, thanks for sharing.
