Stay Sober, Don't drink alcohol and don't mix with anti-depressants. Pot is a depressant. Join AA or NA if you have substance abuse problems. My sister drank and took anti-depressants and she hung herself on 7/4/2015. She was alone. Talk to a buddy, your wife or significant other. Talk to other veterans. Get plenty of sleep. Seek professional help. Work out, run. Pray if you are spiritual. You will find out that if you talk to someone who also suffers from PTSD you will feel strength knowing you are not alone. The real victims are the survivors.

RIP. It really hits hard that PTSD is very difficult to treat. He apparently was doing everything he should, was helping others, and it still took him...

We got to keep looking out for our buddies. We may not catch them, but we stand a better chance if we take not if sudden mood changes.

SGT Michael Thorin - So true. I have several brothers who have messaged me asking me when my book is coming out. They say they are depressed, and need to find some way to get help. That is the bad news. The good news is that they are asking for help. I am rushing as fast as I can to get the book finished.

I'll be praying that you wrap it up to help those who can find some comfort in the book.
