Russian President Vladimir Putin urged the West on Thursday to "immediately" meet Russia's demand, accusing the U.S. and its allies of maintaining a military presence "on the threshold of our home."

I think the West's response should be very Cold War reciprocal in response. Every step closer Russia builds its military at Ukraine's border then NATO should do the same; protect the sovereignty of Ukraine from further aggression. At least until Ukraine tells the West to leave.
