Interesting but the article title is totally misleading because the story presented was only about a militia in Missouri and the actions described happened in Missouri.
You would think that the people writing this stuff would know the difference between Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas.
The sad part about this - Spreading disinformation by someone that should know better.
You would have been better served to make your point by using the Kansas City Star article/s about this particular incident, where it makes the following statement; "Emerging into public view in the past decade, the Three Percenters have organized all over the United States. Their members in Kansas and Missouri now number more than 700, according to Zeskind's research." And no where else in the article are Kansas militia information is cited. It still does not support the title of the interview presented by WAMU (Washington, DC) and KCUR (Kansas City, MO)(NOTE: It is a service of the University of Missouri-Kansas City).
The article that I am referring to above is quite interesting because it also highlight's the Kansas City (Missouri) chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America and the Kansas City Revolutionary Collective (Look it up for yourself, if you need to).

Armed militia surrounding peaceful protests in Kansas City sets nerves on edge
Protesters in Kansas City this summer find themselves surrounded by armed Three Percent militia groups, who say they have a right to carry their guns.
