Colin Kaepernick seems to be doing some good with his donations to various charities. While I didn't agree with his kneeling during the National Anthem, these are good things he is doing and i have to give him credit.

He is simply trying to improve his image. It is in the toilet. He is trying to buy his way out. That is all he knows how to do and is likely getting advise from a PR firm on it. I don't suspect this is his heart speaking buy agents and PR folks trying to improve his value in the NFL to get his next gig. Cynical? You bet. Realistic? absolutely.

Improve his image? Terrible well I guess Trump isnt since he will be cutting meals on wheels. Sometimes you have to give credit where its due and as the young kids ...Stop being a hater.

Meals on wheels received about $248,000 on a budget of $5,900,000 or about 4.2% of their budget. Those funds were sent to them as part of a block grant. The block grant was eliminated. Since the announcement Meals on Wheels donations have skyrocketed so they are in better shape than ever and off the government teat.
A church I attended for a number of years ran a meals on wheels kitchen and delivery service out of it. All of the kitchen staff and delivery service is done by volunteers who give freely from their time, their pantry and their automobiles for delivery etc.
I tried to attach MOW financials so you could educate yourself on the program before accepting taking points from media sources that really don't know what they are talking about.

So what does all that stuff you just posted have to do with Colin? If he wants to donate to an organization thats his business. To improve an image? He doesnt have to improve his image.

Its sad that when an American expresses his 1st amendment rights that fellow Americans who have fought for so that Americans can use those rights tells him NOT to express himself. But are happy that the government pays the NFL to make he players come on the field for the playing of the anthem. Paid patriotism is accepted. Dam shame.
