He has an incredibly weak resume' and was almost certain ally trying to mislead people. As far as the Purple Heart, that might really be his greatest achievement for the police force and something that he wants to highlight. It certinally adds no weight or credibility to the position he is applying for.

He's a double talker. He definitely said he was in those three wars. Then when pinned down, he claims to be a Gulf War era veteran. He's lying.

I checked out his Facebook page and it has the same bullet points in his bio. The kingsville record did an article on him in Feb and characterized his military service correctly "served during the gulf war". That article oddly enough gave him credit for nearly 30 years law enforcement experience when it appears he has around 20. Another article says he has 30 years combined military law enforcement experience, this appears to be closer to the truth. He seem to have a habit of lying, he can't even keep a consistent story.

Disrespectful pos, if he did serve then he should be correct in citing his service, especially that Purple Heart. I served during the Afghanistan Campaign but never deployed, so I don't consider myself as a Afghanistan campaign veteran out of respect for those who have deployed.

PO3 (Join to see), What your doing is what I wish others would do if they never deployed. I've been arguing the Vietnam Veteran isn't a Vietnam era veteran. The ones who served during that time, but didn't deploy are Vietnam era veterans, meaning they served during the Vietnam American campaign, but not in country. I went to Vietnam and am a real Vietnam veteran.
