I wouldn't vote for him, but a lot will, and that's their choice. I don't live there so I can't fully understand the issues there. Hopefully, the voters will cast their vote wisely, and it's not my place to second-guess their vote. At face value I take issue with any officer of the court choosing which laws to follow, but maybe his case has been falsely represented by the left-leaning media. If his actions made the citizens more safe that should be considered, but not at a cost of racially profiling citizens. It's easy to jump on that law and order bandwagon when you are white. If we were on the receiving end of unwarranted stops we might feel differently. I have to imagine how difficult it must be to explain to your children why you are being stopped based on your skin color alone. Especially when you are a legal and responsible citizen. Children are smarter than we give them credit for, and this train of thought must be passed on to future generations. The concept of being "less than" a citizen without any real justification, is something that should not exist.
