If you saw the halftime show, you would see that ratings are more important than decency. The world is shifting, sir CPT Jack Durish

It was inappropriate and it was awful, CPT Jack Durish. Although sung differently, Roseanne Barr's horrible rendition comes to mind also. Marilyn Monroe's birthday song to JFK makes my face turn red just sitting by myself. Thank God Jackie and the children weren't there to witness such a thing!

LTC Stephen C. - Are you going to boycott next year? Did you see the halftime show? Yes, Pharell, please sing to our young girls and boys watching about strippers and lap dances. (Yes, I love that song but I don't really want it to be performed while hips gyrate on camera).

A1C Ian Williams, I didn't watch the game this year. It's a good chance I won't watch next year. It's not a matter of boycotting, I just don't really enjoy watching basketball on TV that much. I did watch a videotaping of her performance.
I didn't watch as many NFL games this year either. I was displeased with the NFL's "stance" on taking a knee, but I still watched some games.
The NBA and the NFL still made millions upon millions of dollars, so I'm not sure that the reduced viewership (as it pertains to the NFL) that everyone has spoken of really mattered in the scheme of things.
