Is this Trump’s “Samson Moment”?

No. Samson died with his enemies because he had sinned. For the metaphor to work, President Trump must have "sinned", that is violated the law in a way that rises to the tests for impeachment. He hasn't. Now, any discussion of these proceedings is subject to be invalidated moment-by-moment as the situation develops. The latest development is that the Russians have called Mueller's bluff. He calculated that the Russians would ignore the lawsuits brought against them and that the "smoke" (the appearance of improprieties) would help damn them and President Trump. He never thought that they would respond. Well, they did, and their attorneys are demanding full disclosure of all evidence that, apparently, Mueller doesn't want to disclose (one must wonder why). Thus, Mueller is now begging the court for a delay so that he can recalculate his strategy. Good luck with that...
