Too much salt yes, I use a quarter of what I used to use, feel a lot better too.

Yes & No....

If you are already unhealthy, salt is another nail in the coffin. If you are in good physical condition, salt "can be" an essential nutrient.

In contemporary times, Americans lean farther into the unhealthy arena than the healthy so it is safer to tell people to cut back on salt. For a community like ours (generally fit), that advice "may not" hold true.

I was raised to avoid salt and fat. After using HFLC diet I then added salt. Surprised how much better food tastes with salt! I say use it.

I watched that because I like salt on my cantaloupe of all things and it got me thinking. Our bodies usually have approximately 3oz. of salt in them, what's another shake of the salt shaker? :-)

SGT (Join to see) - exactly. I have grown to be very distrustful of the USDA food pyramid and plate so now I use salt too. I getting out of control...
