PBP was the precursor for the Tou r de France. It is a ride not a race but must be completed in 90 hours or less (there is also a minimum time limit as well). To qualify one most complete sanctioned brevts of 200, 300, 400, and 600 Kilometers in the year of PBP. This ride is held every 4 years.
