I only have my story. Young guys 19 on a Navy Ship. 1 Guy my friend I thought attempted and confronted me directly for sex. I ran. I bolted right through him. I was engaged to a girl and he knew that, and not feeling well already, sick on the ship, I yelled freaked out in the galley. The crew surround me, calmed me down.

it started heat in the deck department. Me against them. Actually I am nor sure if it was me against them. They just never talked to me in depth no counseling. Nothing, just a alarming situation and no one died. I was engaged to a girlHe was more accepted fully time active duty guy. I was a part time reservist assigned to the ship for 5 years.

I knew it was don't ask don't tell era.

From that point on a knife was pulled on me a gun was threatened on me from other full time deck crew. I am not sure if I basically became belligerent or confrontational or confused but I was pulling my rank on the ship, never feeling good, with limited knowledge.

The guy I referenced dissapeard from the ship.

I did not know who to trust at any time in the manner.

Well For Starters I never thought that women should be put in combat and those type of situtations we HAD a Women's Army Corps....
