This is one of the most worrying aspects of Pres Trump's policy-making process. Presidents should want independent thinkers and those willing to disagree with him on their staffs.

The definition of groupthink describes Trump's administration or more largely those within DC beltway nicely.

Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I think you have defined the problem. Politicians have a job description describing the implementation of policy and or law yet the majority of their time and energy is spent "fund raising"
